A History of Trust for the Future
Detroit Die Cutting was started in 1954 by Elmore Rumley to produce die cut foam and rubber parts for the military and automotive industries. In 1984, his son-in-law, Barry Long started Omni-Industries to expand into new industries. In 1991 the two companies combined and have continuously expanded into new product lines. With over a decade of management experience at DDC/Omni since 2008, Jeanette Burrell became president in 2018 and has successfully expanded the company into medical, packaging and aerospace industries while maintaining our strong foundation in automotive, truck, and military product offerings.
