Steel Rule Die Cut Parts
Advanced Steel Rule Die Cutting Services
DDC-Omni specializes in steel rule die cutting, a versatile manufacturing process that produces precision-cut parts from a wide range of materials. Our state-of-the-art equipment and experienced craftsmen deliver consistent quality parts with complex geometries, tight tolerances, and fast turnaround times.
What is Steel Rule Die Cutting?
Steel rule die cutting uses hardened steel blades formed into specific shapes and mounted on a die board. When pressed through material, these blades cut precise shapes with clean edges. This process is ideal for producing gaskets, seals, insulation, cushioning components, and other flat parts from flexible and semi-rigid materials.
Applications
- Gaskets & Seals: Custom gaskets for automotive, HVAC, and industrial equipment
- Insulation: Thermal and acoustic insulation components for appliances and vehicles
- Cushioning & Padding: Protective foam and rubber cushioning for packaging and products
- EMI/RFI Shielding: Conductive gaskets for electronic enclosures
- Filtration: Custom-shaped filter media and pre-filters
- Medical Devices: Clean-room compatible components and medical-grade materials
